RealTime Gaming Partners with GameWave Solutions for Bingo

RealTime Gaming, a leading provider of online casino software, has entered into an agreement with GaveWave to provide Bingo to RealTime Gaming casinos. Through this agreement, GaveWave Solutions will provide players with seamless access to its BingoWorkz network via any participating RealTime Gaming powered casino. According to GameWave, “This solution is unique in the industry in that it allows established Casino operators to join a pre-existing Bingo network while still maintaining ownership and privacy of customers and their deposits”.

The opportunity to integrate RealTime Gaming casinos with a third-party Bingo network is made possible by RealTime Gaming’s proprietary Multi-bank technology. The Multi-bank system allows casinos to efficiently transfer players and deposits back-and-forth with other casinos and gaming entities. “We’re excited about the introduction of Bingo to our software,” says Michael Staw, RealTime Gaming President and CEO. “This is just one of the many possible applications of our multi-bank technology. RealTime Gaming and GameWave share the same commitment to excellence, so I believe this will be a real win-win situation”. RealTime Gaming intends to leverage the power of its Multi-bank technology to create exciting new network games and progressive jackpots in the coming months.

RealTime Gaming introduces new, revolutionary new slot game where players win – by losing!

Atlanta, GA – January 23, 2002 – Online casino software developer RealTime Gaming recently announced the release of the new "It's Good To Be Bad" Slot game, a 3-reel progressive slot game with an innovative twist: players can win free spins and huge bonuses –by losing.

The ground breaking new game – already available for play through RealTime Gaming-powered online casinos – operates like a standard slot game, until a player goes on a losing streak. That's when the bonuses start to pile up. "Players don't like to lose. But now when they do, they still get a chance to trade those losses in for big wins." says Michael Staw, President of RealTime Gaming.

    "Loser's" Bonus

So how bad do you have to lose in order to win big? It all depends on just how dry a run a player puts together, and how much they are willing to push their own "bad luck". Bonuses start after four straight losing spins, in the form of free spins – guaranteed winners that pay anything found on the pay table – from 3 to 600 coins. The more times you lose in a row, the more free winning spins you can accumulate, up to a whopping 11,000 free spins. In addition, there's always the chance to take home the ultimate bonus, a progressive jackpot of more than $100,000!

"With free spins, it's like someone else is feeding money into your machine until you win. It's no longer a question of if you'll hit a winner, it's how big will it be," says Michael McMain, RealTime's Director of Engineering, "And of course there's also that Big Daddy out there, the multi-casino progressive jackpot".

    Pushing "Bad" Luck

Putting together a losing streak that generates the greatest bonus opportunities takes more than luck; it also takes a lot of nerve. Free spins come often, but players must either cash in their free spins, or push on to try and lose again. "It takes a certain amount of guts to take 5, 10, or even 1000 free spins – guaranteed winners – and put them on the line. But then again the payoffs can make it all worthwhile," says Staw.

    New Approach to Gaming

This innovative twist on an old standard is nothing new for RealTime Gaming, it is a deliberate strategy for growth. As Staw puts it, "To stay ahead of the competition we have to focus on what the players want, and that is variety, entertainment, and a real shot at winning big prizes. That's how games like It's Good To Be Bad are born. We've generated so much excitement that we've even been approached by traditional slot vendors interested in bringing It's Good To Be Bad to brick and mortar casinos!"

Thus far, response to It's Good To Be Bad has been overwhelmingly positive from both casino operators and players. "The whole reason we do business with RealTime is because they always are pushing the envelope; not just with new technology features, but with real original gaming ideas. Look at It's Good To Be Bad; players win by losing? It's new, it's different and it's bringing in new players. We love it!" gushes casino manager Andrew Johnstone from www.casinoextreme.com.

Evidently, other operators agree, and are demanding more new games from the RealTime team. Luckily, new game innovations are on the way. As Staw puts it, "We released 25 new games in 2002, and we've got even bigger plans for this year."

Geisha Lounge and Grand Aces online casinos announce switch to RealTime Gaming software platform

Change is in the air for two online casinos this week as Geisha Lounge (www.geishalounge.com) and Grand Aces Casino (www.grandaces.com), both announced their planned switch to the RealTime Gaming software platform.

"We are excited to join the RealTime family, and we can't wait to roll out their full suite of products to all of our loyal players," says Grand Aces casino manager Nic van den Bergh adding, "It's a pretty exciting time around here."

The switch will officially take place September 10th, but will only affect new players in the short run. While current players will be able to continue playing on the old platform, new players visiting either site will download the new RealTime Gaming platform. There are plans to migrate the entire player roster to the new platform, but for now, existing and new players will run on parallel platforms on parallel sites.

"Our aim is to provide the best new game platform for all of our players (current and new) without disrupting current players' gaming, so we will run in parallel until we have the majority of our players switched over to the new system," says van den Bergh.

Even so, current players will be encouraged to take advantage of the new suite of available games through promotional messaging and CD mailings. According to van den Bergh, "It is such a positive change for our players we predict most will adopt the new platform sooner than later. Of course, we may also add some rewards and incentives to encourage our players to make the switch."

The change will be limited to software only. Management, customer service staff, and look-and-feel for both casino sites will stay relatively the same. Only the games players play , and the game roster they can choose from – will change.

Both operations cite the need to update their game platforms as the primary reason for the shift. As van den Bergh puts it, "We owe it to our players to provide the most cutting edge gaming experience possible, and our old platform was simply out of date - we haven't had a considerable update in months. It's time for a change."

"We really liked what we saw from RealTime. They have a deep understanding of players that shows in their game design, and they are committed to innovation - they've had five releases in the past six months alone!" says van den Bergh.

Both operations said RealTime's track record of frequent releases and development of new titles played heavily in their decision. Not surprising, considering RealTime's player-focused development philosophy.

"We try to find new ways to enhance each player's gaming experience, whether that's through more realistic gameplay design or the development of new, original games," explains Michael Staw, President of RealTime Gaming. "We like to keep things fresh, but above all, our games are playable. The pacing, the action and the look-and-feel are all designed to make playing our games as straightforward and entertaining as possible."

The RealTime product seems to be a nice fit for both casinos, and all parties seem optimistic regarding the switch. van den Bergh sums up the anticipation simply, "We just can't wait to get everyone up and running. September 10th can't get here fast enough!"

Founded in 1998, RealTime Gaming creates Internet gaming software for some of the most successful casino sites on the Internet, employing some of the most sought after talent in the areas of game programming, web development, and business statistics.

    Atlanta, GA – November, 2003

RealTime Gaming announces new version 2.7 release, with addition of anticipated multi-player poker game platform.

Online Casino software developer RealTime Gaming announced today the roll out of the latest version of their popular online casino software platform – complete with a brand new multi-player poker suite.

Version 2.7 is RealTime’s 13 release update in the last two years – outpacing all other major casino software developers.

“We k now that the key to this business is innovation, and we are always working to stay a step ahead of the competition,” says Michael Staw, President of RealTime Gaming. “In the software business you have to keep moving – always refining, adapting and introducing the next best thing – this time around, that ‘thing’ is multi-player poker.”

    Poker Push

Truly the “star” of the new release, the multi-player poker platform opens whole new gaming avenue for RTG licensees. Capitalizing on the widespread popularity of poker-style games, RealTime’s suite integrates a slew of games – 6 total – that draw from cultural influences from around the globe. Games range from western classics like Texas Hold “Em and Seven Card Stud to the exotic Far Eastern influence in such games as Pan and Chinese Poker.

Games aside, RTG licensees are particularly excited with the new multi-player possibilities poker brings to the platform. To date, most RTG games were based on traditional casino games, with a player-versus- the-house model. With multi-player poker, operators can connect players within a single casino or across a multi-casino network and enable head-to-head game play in a real time environment.

“The popularity of poker is huge, but the key is getting players together – unlike other casino games, poker is very much a social game,” explains Fermin Barrios of Cyberbetting International. “With the new Multi-player platform from RealTime Gaming, our players can get together and play each other – they can have their own ‘poker night’ online, so to speak.”

While the player-to-player interaction is key, another advantage is the integration of poker into the already established casino platform. Multi-player action works off the same account information as the rest of the casino platform, so established players don’t have to change a thing. Players can just select multi-player poker as a game within their home casino without ever having to deal with new log-in names or accounts.

“The goal was to create software that integrated both types of games, casino style games and head-to-head multi-player games, in one package,” says Staw. “We think of it just like a real casino, you can get up from a blackjack table and sit down at a poker table. It’s a totally different game and a totally different experience, but you never have to leave the casino to change your game.”

    What else is new?

Multi-Player Poker isn’t the only new addition to the RealTime Platform, the 2.7 also sees the introduction of two new slot games and the introduction of multi-hand video poker to the mix. The slot additions – Super Diamond Mine and High Rollers - bring the total number of RealTime slot games to 17, making their slots offering one of the deepest and most diverse in the business. The multi-hand poker feature is actually an add-on to most of the existing video poker games, adding another level of play to proven favorites.

    On the Horizon..

As usual, RealTime Gaming executives are protective when it comes to details of the next release, but if the past two years are any indicator, version 2.8 can’t be far behind. Though specifics are unknown, Staw is quick to point out the RealTime track record. “Innovation is one of the cornerstones of our business, so you can bet we’ll keep moving at the same pace. You never have to wait too long to see what’s next when it comes from us.”

BoDog.com bites off a bigger, better casino offering with RealTime Gaming

ATLANTA, GA – Online gaming company BoDog.com plans today to expand its online casino offering by incorporating the RealTime Gaming online gaming platform. As one of the world’s largest online sports books, BoDog.com hopes to bolster the casino side of its online gaming operation with the inclusion of the RealTime suite of casino-style games.

"A majority of our Sportsbook players are also Casino players," said Rob Gillespie, President of BoDog.com.com Sportsbook and Casino. "With the new Casino we will be able to offer players the most advanced technology, and gaming experience."

Michael Staw, RealTime Gaming President agreed: “When you run a world class sports gaming site, it only makes sense to expand and offer your players the total package. Our suite of games is unmatched for variety and playability and will be a perfect compliment to the BoDog.com offering.”

As an online sportsbook, BoDog.com is among the largest and most established in the industry, having processed over 150 million transactions to date. In addition to sports gaming, BoDog.com also currently offers a suite of Flash-based casino games including blackjack, craps, Caribbean poker and roulette. Once up and running, the RealTime platform will bring over 60 different games to BoDog.com players.

“Their game variety is unbeatable. There’s something for everyone, and I can’t wait to see player response,” said Gillespie.

According to BoDog.com management, the decision to develop a more robust casino offering was largely player driven. Many BoDog.com users wanted a way to play within their sports book account, and wanted a larger variety of the most popular Las Vegas Casino games.

“We knew that our games would be a hit with their player base, and we know how to plug it all in from a back-end standpoint. It really has been a pretty smooth process,” says Staw.

The marriage between RealTime and BoDog.com is significant for both companies. For BoDog.com it marks the first time they have ventured outside their own walls for the development of a player-facing software product. For RealTime, BoDog.com represents a major win – another big-name player in the gaming marketplace that has selected RealTime Gaming as their casino gaming platform.

Both management teams are excited at the possibilities. “We’re looking forward to bringing something this big to our players…it really completes our site as a one-stop gaming center,” says Gillespie. Staw added, “We’ve got a great software product and they have a great gaming operation – it’s a perfect match.”

King Solomons Casino switches to RealTime Gaming software platform

But perhaps the biggest change in King Solomons history happened this winter with the decision to switch software platforms. Announced in March of this year, King Solomons now has steps underway to migrate all of its players to the RealTime gaming platform.

According to Solomons Marketing Director Dominic Mansour the decision to change platforms was a question of business focus – making a clear choice between casino management and software development. “We know our players, we know the gaming industry, and we know how to market ourselves effectively. But we felt it was time we worked with an outside group for software development. We needed a separate team to focus specifically on the software side of the business.”

The change for players will be noticeable, but shouldn’t disrupt current styles or tendencies. On the contrary, the comprehensive suite of RealTime games should expand player choices, with more than 45 game titles in a variety of categories, including multi-player poker and bingo.

The decision to choose RealTime was “an easy one” says Mansour. “They understand who we are and what we need. Their games meet our immediate needs, and their philosophy matches ours – the players come first. Developing software is all they do, so they can really focus on the games and the back-end, instead of trying to run their own casinos. They are as serious about this business as we are.”

RealTime Gaming “Raises the Roof” at GIGSE show in Toronto

TORONTO, CANADA – In her years as tradeshow coordinator for St. Louis based River City Group, Dawn Kirkwood has seen a lot of tradeshow booths. Even so, she admits she was “more than impressed” by the RealTime Gaming booth at this year’s Global Interactive Gaming Show and Exhibition.

If first impressions mean a lot, then RealTime Gaming’s two story design did not fail to impress. The first two-story booth in GIGSE’s show history, the RealTime Gaming edifice generated a lot of buzz on the show floor.

“I had reviewed the plans, and I knew what to expect, but still, it was great to see the design come to life. The energy of the people in and around the booth, the graphics, the electronics – it really was an exceptional booth to experience,” said Kirkwood.

But according to RealTime Gaming personnel, the booth was designed for function first. “The design was less about impact, and more about practicality – we needed a private conference room for our back-end demos, and we didn’t want to close in half of the booth and lose all that space. So a rooftop deck seemed natural,” explains Daniel Schultz, Vice-President for RealTime Gaming. “The fact that it was so eye-catching was a real bonus.”

Once atop the open-air deck, RealTime guests were treated to a panoramic view of the entire show, and “VIP treatment” that included a complimentary bar and masseuse. “Our theme this year was to ‘Relax with RealTime Gaming’ – when you’re high above the hectic show floor with drink in hand and a masseuse working on your shoulders, its hard not to relax,” explains Schultz.

As it turns out, unique attractions were not limited to the roof. In addition to the game displays and kiosks, RealTime personnel and guests could also be found zipping along the show floor on two Segway personal transporters. And beyond the show floor, some conventioneers were lucky enough to score invites to an evening of sketch comedy at the world-famous Second-City Theater, hosted by RealTime Gaming.

“I think this was our best show yet…we made a lot of new contacts, and had the opportunity to share our two passions, entertainment and technology,” explains Schultz. “It’s a great event, and this year we had a great showing. It all just came together perfectly.”

Atlanta, GA – March 28, 2005 Online casino software developer RealTime Gaming recently announced the release of four new and exciting ‘ Real-Series ' video slots whereby players can win free spins, bonuses features and massive random jackpots!

Already available for play through RealTime Gaming-powered online casinos, these state-of-the-art games, are identical, if not more innovative and exciting, to any video slot you will find in a Las Vegas casino. “Our goal at RealTime Gaming has always been to bring the real gaming experience online, and by adding Aztec's Treasure , Cleopatra's Gold , Goldbeard and Ronin to our platform, we continue to achieve that goal.” says Michael Staw, President of RealTime Gaming.

    The ‘Real' Approach to Gaming

The release of these innovative and exciting Real-Series games is nothing new for RealTime Gaming. As Staw puts it, "To stay ahead of the competition we always remain focused on what the players want, and that is variety, entertainment, and a real shot at winning big prizes. That's how games like Shopping Spree and Mid-Life Crisis were born and why we've made a huge investment to bring this new series of video slots to our customers. Players enjoy our product for many reasons, but we are continually told that we offer the most realistic experience and we will continue to meet and exceed player expectations.”

Thus far, response to these new slots has been overwhelmingly positive from both casino operators and players. So much so, that the company has already begun to develop 35 additional Real-Series video slots. Three of which will be released in the next several weeks.

RealTime Gaming to Exhibit at GIGSE and ACE Conferences

Atlanta, GA – June 09, 2005 Representatives from RealTime gaming are predicting a strong showing at two upcoming industry conferences this month. RealTime is booked to exhibit at both the Global Interactive Gaming Summit and Exposition (GIGSE) in Montreal June 13-15, and the Asian Casino Expo (ACE) in Singapore June 21-23.

“ "It's always exciting to attend these conferences, see old friends and make new ones from around the globe. It is also a great opportunity to learn more about many of the other aspects of the gaming industry," sa ys Daniel Schultz, RealTime's Director of Business Development. “It's a great opportunity for us to reconnect with clients and other industry leaders, and show everyone first hand what we've been up to. We get to have a little fun, too, of course.”

In past years at GIGSE, RealTime Gaming has earned a reputation for out-of-the-box displays and events, introducing the show's first two-story booth a year ago, complete with masseuse and cocktail bar. Though he won't go into details, Schultz is promising this year's booth will be a “show within the show.”

At this year's ACE event, Schultz is also a featured speaker, scheduled to address the challenges for the continued expansion of online gaming in the complex Asian market.

RealTime Gaming can be located at booth #204 at GIGSE and booth #E12 at ACE this month.
