Net Entertainment sells casino games to Unibet
Thursday, October 16, 2003
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
- Net Entertainment, a leading provider of non-download Internet casino software, today announces an agreement with Unibet, one of Scandinavia's largest online sports books. Unibet will implement Net Entertainment's non-download Casino Game suite (www.casinomodule.com). The Casino Module is designed to allow casino games to be easily added to an online sports book. The games themselves will appear within the sports book, in all 12 languages currently offered at unibet.com. The ability to attract and engage in interaction with customers in their native language has been an important part of the decision for Unibet, who have a broad and differentiated customer base in all of Europe.
Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Net Entertainment says: "Unibet is a prestige contract which we won in competition with several high profile casino software suppliers. That is very encouraging for us. It proves that our Casino Module is the number 1 choice for sports betting companies who wants to extend their customer offer to include casino games."
Pontus Lesse, CEO of Unibet says: "We have more than 200 000 customers today and we believe that we will be able to attract new customer groups through the casino. Our customers have expressed a desire for us to widen our product offer to include casino games."
The casino games will be launched at Unibet.com before the end of the year.
