GoldenPalace.com Invests in Time-Travel through eBay Auction

No longer limited to the realm of science fiction, a real, live (albeit non-functioning) time machine was auctioned off on eBay. While remodeling his bathroom, a home owner discovered the machine hidden under the house in an old, rotting wooden chest along with photos and letters that may be related to it and its past owner.

The machine, according to a metal plate affixed to its front, was built in the year 2239 and apparently sustained some damage from what appears to have been a fire. This unfortunate accident caused the previous owner to be trapped in the past. “Trapped” might be the wrong word when you consider that he appears to be “trapped” in Southern California where he made friends (maybe fellow time-travelers?) and found a girlfriend.

Fortunately for GoldenPalace.com (and perhaps the world), the man who recently re-discovered the time-machine failed to get it to work (even after getting his buddy, who worked on cars, to take a look at it). A time-machine that doesn’t work is of no interest to its present owner other than a means of getting “a little extra money”.

Although it might be one of the most important discoveries of all time, this incredible item was put up for auction so that the owner could finish remodeling his bathroom.

Naylor's 12-year-old daughter, Crysta, said she discovered the Rold Gold honey-mustard-flavored pretzel while snacking and watching television with her family on Feb. 27.

Paris - English serial streaker Mark Roberts is due to appear in court here this week after running onto the Philippe Chatrier centre court during Sunday's French Open men's singles final, police said.

The father of three from Liverpool, clad only in three strategically-placed tennis balls raced onto court during a second set changeover and leaped over the net before being frogmarched out of the arena by a bevy of security guards.

Police in Paris' chic 16th district, which borders Roland Garros, said on Monday that 39-year-old Roberts told them that he had already pulled the same stunt more than 300 times at venues around the world.

Police said that they were satisfied that Roberts 'had no other motive than to show himself.' He was released and will appear in court at a date to be fixed in the coming days for exposing himself.

The sudden appearance of Roberts seemed to enrage a couple of the bulls and they pursued him like two angry heat-seeking missiles. Roberts barely escaped severe injury by grabbing the edge of a low hanging balcony, then pulling himself out of the way before one of the bulls could gore a large hole through the '.com' on his back.

'I honestly saw my life flash before my eyes,' said Roberts later. 'I've seen the bullrun on TV before but they are so much bigger and faster in real life. It's unbelievable how fast those things can move. I thought I was a dead man.'

Roberts has streaked over 200 times during his illustrious career, but this was by far the most dangerous streak he has ever attempted. Although he luckily emerged unscathed, 11 people were injured in this year's event, 3 having been gored by the bulls' horns.

Mark Roberts streaks World Swimming Championships!

Mark Roberts, the world’s most prolific streaker, made his fifth appearance as the casino’s body billboard when he streaked the World Swimming Championships on Saturday. Just when it you thought it was safe to go back in the water, Roberts, dressed only in a pink tutu, red bathing cap, and the casino’s Net address tattoo did a little ballet dance before jumping into the pool during the synchronized swimming final of the championships. As with his other streaks, Roberts received a hearty ovation from the crowd for his antics. Even though his performance was not as graceful as the other swimmers’, Roberts definitely scored points for originality.

Laura Gosling streaks British Open... TOPLESS!





The audience at the British Open on Sunday received a better show than they bargained for as 28-yr-old London resident Laura Gosling streaked during the presentation of the championship trophy. As Ben Curtis was being handed the Claret Jug, a topless Gosling broke away from the crowd and made a beeline for the 500 - 1 longshot winner to present him with a kiss. Security intercepted her and escorted her off the course before she could reach Curtis. As with US Open streaker Brittney Skye, Gosling wore pasties over her nipples and the ad tattoo on her chest and back.
