Mr. Angel has been involved as the founder and principal of several successful interactive services businesses, and draws on his background as a telecommunications lawyer and trade association activist. Mr. Angel is the past chairman and founder of Internet Billing Company Ltd. (“iBill”) a leading provider of billing services in the global Internet billing market. iBill was sold to publicly-traded InterCept Inc. in April 2002 for in excess of $100 million cash. Mr. Angel is also a founder and principal in ICN Ltd., a leading nationwide 800/900 audiotex and conferencing service bureau. Mr. Angel’s prior experience in gaming matters includes being the co-founder of the Interactive Gaming Council (“IGC”) and a member of its Board of Directors since inception in 1996. Mr. Angel has testified before several governmental bodies on gaming topics and has been a frequently invited speaker at global gaming conferences. Mr. Angel is active in industry policy development and in addition to the IGC has served on the Boards of several trade associations including the Billing Reform Council, the American Public Communications Council, the Interactive Services Assn. and the National Association of Information Services.
