Pre flop is a game that has many takers, simply due to the ease the game allows. One is not forced to play each and every hand that is dealt but instead the player can choose the hand that he/she would like to back with a bet and herein lies its charm.

The strategy that you develop during the pre flop game will depend on the number of Texas holdam poker players on the table. If the table is full up and you are playing 9 other players, then the chances of others having a strong hand are quite high. On the other hand if the table is small then you do have lesser people to defeat. So if playing on a large table, play a tight game but if on a small table, you can adopt a more aggressive play.
